Council Training 1
Introduction to the Way of Council
The first step to learning Council practice, Council Training 1 is a 16-hour experiential course on the basic elements, modalities, and forms of Council practice. Council Training 1 workshops are offered by Center for Council throughout the year in a variety of locations. All are welcome to attend, whether you're just learning about Council or looking for a "refresher."
Council Training 2
Deepening the Practice
Deepen your practice, explore Council’s application in a variety of settings, and focus on how to address challenging situations in Council, as well as your own triggers and blind spots. Completion of CT1 and practice facilitating Council is required to enroll.
Council Training 3
Living the Way of Council
Advanced Council Practice Required
This advanced workshop is for experienced practitioners who are ready to more deeply explore the three challenges of becoming a carrier of Council: becoming a steward, reading the interactive field, and finding the ability to participate in and witness the process simultaneously. This course explores where the practice of Council ends and living council begins.
community council offerings
In addition to the offerings above, Center for Council's Affiliated Trainers also hold trainings and community drop-in Council sessions. These events are hosted and operated by those trainers, independent of Center for Council. See what is offered and contact them directly for more information.
