LAPD Officers Talk About P.O.W.E.R

Participants in the conversation documented in the video below were all active officers with the Los Angeles Police Department who had been assigned to one of five cohorts working through six months of the P.O.W.E.R. training program.

Independent evaluation of the LAPD program cohorts conducted by UCLA researchers ​found that the P.O.W.E.R. training program produced statistically significant increases in empathy and emotional awareness and suggested notable improvement in physical health. ​​
