transformative programming

law enforcement agencies

incarcerated and system-impacted individuals
businesses and organizations
healthcare professionals
educators
We’ve worked with incarcerated men and women and their families throughout California, with social justice leaders, law enforcement officers, educators, doctors and nurses, with the staff of non-profit organizations and businesses, with wellness and faith-based groups, and many more - including survivors of genocide in Rwanda, descendants of Holocaust survivors and homeless refugees. Hover over "who we serve," above, to read more about the varied programs we currently offer.

Our council-based programs cultivate positive interaction in a wide variety of professional, business and organizational settings. Center for Council programs increase individual wellness, deepen cooperation and interpersonal relationships, and lead to a more resilient and generative organizational culture. In addition to providing a vehicle for increasing individual self-awareness and reinforcing effective self-care, council
enables groups of individuals to give voice to their stories, develop mutual respect, cultivate a compassionate response to anger, defensiveness, and violence, as well as strengthen emotional health and resilience.

All our programs are structured in a way that creates a "ripple effect." Participants learn the skills and pedagogy of council practice, equipping them with the tools they need to facilitate council circles for their peers and to become agents of change within their own communities and organizations.
